Then she will start shooting for the film The Man opposite Sunny Deol. This film will be co-directed by Sunny Deol and Neeraj Pathak. The role that plays is influenced by her real life. Then Shilpa is also doing an international film Hanuman where she plays Sita in which none other than Keanu Reeves is supposed to play the role of Ram. Shilpa is also starting her own production soon which will be named S2 Global Production. Under her banner she will have a film directed by Manish Jha where she will play the lead.
Ujjal Chaterjee who made the film Escape from Taliban has now roped in Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee and Amir Khan to make a film on Tsunami. He plans to make the film in both Hindi and English. The film will basically be a love story with a backdrop of Tsunami. The story is picked from the real life heros like the priest in Tamil Nadu who gave shelter to many victims during Tsunami. Amir and Rani will play the lead role as the love interest and Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of the priest. The film will be shot in Nagapattinam, Phuket in Thailand and Bali in Indonesia.
